well guys looks like i'm saying goodbye to the solara..its been fun while its lasted but its time to move on to something new..tomorrow morning i'll be on my way to pick up my '01 IS300 in the rare autumn sky pearl paint..every since i can remember this has been been my dream car and i told myself that if i got the chance to get into one i wouldnt even hesitate and i didnt lol..its the 5-spd auto with triptronic tan leather interior, tien coilovers, tinted sidemarkers, 15% tint, HKS Carbon-ti exaust. sold the 'lara for 7k and financed 10K to get it but its worth every penny..ive only got one pic but ill put some more up once i pick it up

The picture is awfully small to see but that color looks awesome. It has a good 'Wow' effect to it :)

congrats on the IS300, that engine has so much potential when boosted.
Your color and the Le Mans Sunset color on the 350Z are the two sexiest colors around, and are kinda rare too. But I think stock for stock your IS300 is just as fast as a V6 gen1-gen1.5... But you have the advantage through the twisties.

I sold the IS because of cop issues.. very long story.. stock it's just 215 hp stock rear while drive, personally I think it's a great car in any aspect or angle.. have fun with it. I miss that car terribly. Let me know how it goes with it :)

well guys sorry i havent got any pics up but it just so happens theres been a slight accident..ill just let you guys know that RWD and tropical storm conditions do not mix well at all lol i was swinging by the house after school and was tryin to hurry since i had to go pick up my sister. so im in the turn lane to cross the highway into my neighborhood. mind you ive had the car for just 1 day and im still getting used to the handling of it and the gas is quite a bit more sensitive than that of the solara..with that combined with the touchy handling of RWD and apparently having accidently hit the traction control button and turning it off i think you guys can see where im going..well i start to pull out and im turning and theres water puddled about 2 inches deep or so that i couldnt tell was that deep and the second those back wheels hit the puddle the rear end was gone..so im drifting across a highway while traffic is approaching and trying to regain the back end..then as im turning the wheel to try and straighten the car back up the rear wheels gain traction again and it takes off and i clip the speed limit sign at the front of my neighborhood..the damage wasnt so bad all things considered. it took a small part of the driver side front bumper off where it connects to the fender and pulled the wires off the foglight..its supposed to go into the shop tmrw i think so hopefully ill have my baby back soon
