What tint should I get?

What tint should I get?

I've got some extra cash and want to get my windows tinted either 35% or 20% all around. In the state of Missouri where I live the legal limit is 35%, but I have 20% on my truck and have never been pulled over for my windows. I was thinking the lighter tint would look a little better though since the color of my car is white. Here is a picture of my car to help you decide. Thanks.

35% would be enough, on a white car that will look plenty dark.

Go with a 30%, best of both worlds.

Go with 20% since you dont already get hassled from the cops. Also with the beige interior you have, the 35% will make the tint look too light in the daytime. So the 20% will get it just right.

Unfortunately, some Tint Services dont offer 30% if they already have 20% and a 35%... its just not too much of a change and not cost-effective to provide the "in between". But if for some reason, his place has the 30%, your suggestion may be of good value

i'd go with the 20%, I've got 5% all around on mine and it looks great. I just don't want my leather seats to dry up.

the tint limit in florida is 35% and I went 20% all the way around and no cops have ever bothered me while I am driving my Solara. Most cars I see in the road have limo tints so I don't have to worry.

Most of the time the ones who do bother people for their car tints are aholes so you just gotta watch out for those.

I had 5% tint all around on my truck for a week before I got pulled over and ticketed for it. But not since my 20%. And I kind of like seeing out my windows at night. With 5% it's a little hard.

I was talking to a cop about it here in florida, and he said that the way they are trained to find people with illegal tint is to check if they are able to see the driver and the passangers face. Best way to do that is not get your windshield tinted. If you dont get the little strip put on there, you are going to be in the clear. Likewise, you could always drive with the sunroof open (if you have one). it allows for enough light to go through.

if your still thinking about ideas, why dont you do darker on the back windows (cause they cant test those) and then a lighter tint on the front two?
