does anyone know how to change the whole passenger turning signal light. Some idiot backed into my car and broke my light =\ I tried taking the light off but i couldnt figure it out. I only seen one screw and that was on the top of the light. there must be something else holding it in there. How should i charge this guy ? The light is 99$ I want to charge him $200

take out the screw and slide the corner light toward the front of the car. do not pry it out to the side.

If you know who did it, and have proof, why do it yourself? Let his insurnance cover it and take it to the shop.

Side it out, but keep in mind that it's held in there pretty good, but like MCO said, bring it to a shop and file a claim... If it's more than 99, demand that you don't feel safe in the car and you'll need a whole new front end, alignment, steering, suspension, etc, then if you were in the car, claim an injury. Suffering for the other person ensues.

well i just got my car back from the shop wich took about 3 months to replace a fuze box and all its connections, i really dont want to put my car in a shop for a busted signal light. My car was not scrached or anything. The light costs $98 and its easy to put in right?

its very easy to take out and put back in. unscrew the only screw holding it in, slide it towards you, its out, youre done.
do it in reverse to re-install....
