I just took I.D. measurements off the RIMS and O.D. measurements off the car hubs... you won't likely get a standard vernier caliper inside the rims... we used a "small" machinists tool... the standard caliper works fine on the O.D. On the OTHER hand, the O.D. is "reference available" at the source we used... it was either Discount Tire or Tire Rack... (I forget which... we just needed the I.D. of my particular rims, and they knew what to get for my '04 gen 2 Solara...)

I'm told to use aluminum, but they didn't have them in my size, so we went with composite. I don't know if it will be a problem when/if I remove them, but at the moment, I have NO shimmy or vibration at ANY speed that I can recall... (Well, wait a minute... I MIGHT have felt a MILD vibration at 125... but that COULD have been the tranny or turbulence. :o )
