Will the TRD FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR fit the 99-01 Solara V6? I have heard from TRD that it should fit being that it is a universal part. Can someone confirm this? Thanks!

it wont fit your car, the adjustable fuel pressure regulator only works on the car has return fuel system (older toyotas, such as MR2, supra, corolla). I believe after 97 all of toyota has returnless fuel system, which is we dont have fuel return line and the fuel pressure regulator is in the fuel tank. It will pump just enough fuel to the engine, unlike return kind, will dump extra fuel back to tank. The purpose of returnless fuel system is for better emission, but it is bad for force induction, such as turbo charge modification. because after cerntain level the stock fuel pressure regulator cannot provide the enough fuel you need.
