It is best that you do it at every oil change...but tire shops recommend every 6-7k miles...so no i don't think you are too late...

Toyota recommends rotating your tires every 7500 miles, I do it every 10k.

i was lazy and didn't get around to rotation #1 until like 12k... so I'm just gonna finish off the stock tires and get new ones @ 20k (currently at 16k)

8k!?! there aint no tire that i know that melts that fast. either you're doing way too many burnouts or yeah that's all i can think of. you can rotate the tires yourself or you can pay a small fee to go to a discount tire and get the lifetime stuff.

i rotate mine every 5k. my tires are the poor 180 treadware.

Do it after every oil change or every 5000 miles.

with 8k you should be allrght, but much longer and you should only rotate front to back, with out crossing them. If you run them in one direction for too long, then switch directions, you run the risk of snapping belts.

its best not to criss-cross radial tires anyway. always rotate front to back, leaving the spare alone.

*Sorry for pulling up old threads* (I used the search function!) Ok so can anyone tell me if the car is lowered, would this mean we need to rotate our tires more often. Toyota says every 5K miles but should i do it like every 3K?

3-5k... it will just wear more evenly if done in shorter time intervals.

but it really shouldn't hurt too much if you do every 6k...
