you have to hammer/pull the brass clip out

and the cut out is just on the firewall foam- there are punch outs of where you need to drill actual holes for the clutch pedal mounting and the master cylinder though, so just follow those

comparison of brake pedals
Image

you just have to take out a bolt and a cotter pin to get out the old brake pedal, reverse for install
Image

woohoo, easy peesy now it has to come back off to get spray painted
Image

also quick note, 2 nuts hold in the grey cruise control box, take the box out. and install is sooooo much easier

when you get the clutch pedal assembly, there are two places to plug in wiring
Image

just thought that i would put your mind to ease...my auto solara had these taped up onto my wiring harness, and they theoretically will plug right into the clutch assembly, i know i was worried until i saw.

this proves a lot of theories that the platform is pre made for auto or manual

i will be cutting the holes in my firewall tonight, ill keep yall updated

this is the clutch ass im installing in my solara about $1700,
Clutch Masters is proud to offer the finest and most economical multi-plate clutch systems, the FX600 and FX700 Series. Clutch Masters' Twin Disc systems are pure racing technology that also works well in high performance street applications. They are designed to hold tremendous torque ratings, while retaining a very smooth operation. By using a smaller diameter clutch assembly, Clutch Masters Twin Disc systems have a reduced rotational mass, meaning quicker and smoother shifting and much better throttle response. By slightly increasing the clamping force of the pressure plate and adding to the square inches of usable disc area, CM Twin Discs significantly increase clamping values. The cover assembly is machined from billet aluminum with 25% more tensile strength than the competition's cast unit. They are available in three specific pressure ratings as well as several types of friction surfaces. The flywheel is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum to meet SFI spec 1.2 for competition in NHRA, NDRA, IDRC, IHRA, SCCA and NASA.

you're going to both need the tranny plate and the tranny mount for your tranny

as for making those holes for the clutch and master cylinder....have fun....lol...it's a bitch.
