Anyone know what the wheel weight is for the stock 16" wheels on the Solara Gen 1? Without the tires.

With tires I think mine were right at 44lbs. Estimation of the tire weight would be about 23-27. So I'm guessing about 17-19 lbs.
Trust me, I'm a technician.

Cool, thanks man. I tried doing a search but I guess I was putting in crappy keywords.

So in that thread it's estimated at between 37 - 44 lbs. Which means the wheel alone is between 12lbs to 24lbs (given a 16" tire on tirerack.com is usually between 21 - 25 lbs).

Which...unfortunately doesn't tell me much lol.. Most wheels are between 12lbs and 24 lbs.. But I highly doubt the wheel is under 15 lbs.

The stock 15" Camry steelies I had were just around 20lbs each.

I'm gonna make a guess and say the 16" wheel is close to 22 lbs.

I would bet it's very close to 19lbs.

Awesome! Thanks for weighing your wheel dude! The mystery is solved.

So the 16" stock Solara wheel weighs about the same as the 15" steelies... interesting.
