i was driving my friends rsx the other day, and the steering wheel was really tight. when i went back to my solara, it was loose. i was wondering if there was a way to make the steering wheel tighter.

do you mean tighter as in heavier? or do you mean you want less rotations from fully left to fully right, in other words, reducing the ratio?

Welcome to reality where a stock Solara is a boat and gives no steering feel at all. :D

so sway bars, modded suspension, better tires and bigger rims would make it better? tighter as in heavier.

Yes, sway bars, suspension, tires, wheels, etc will definitely improve steering wheel reaction... but it wont be as good as a Type-S

Possibly.

Anyways, the steering will never be that heavy.

Want Heavy, try MR2 without steering support.
Want Precise AND Heavy, try driving a Boxster... best steering feel car I've driven so far.
