I guess it would depend on how many watts the hair dryer is.
I used a 1600W hair dryer on it for 30-45 secs then used a high test fishing string, using a sawing motion to remove mine and it didn't leave any scratches at all. My car was 3 years old when I took them off so you could see where the paint was slightly darker under the badging. It didn't take too long for mother nature to work that out though. If it does leave any tiny marks (shouldn't) refer to the thread on Washing and Waxing a Car here:
http://www.zer0.info/solaraguy/viewtopic.php?t=4954 After you lift the badging off you will probably be left with some of the adhesive on the car. I used Goo-Gone to remove it. -JoeB
