Ok, it's been 12 years but I'm now getting around to placing the sunglass holder in the overhead console area, but I'm trying to figure out how to get the blank door out. Seems like a plastic hinge but it's not apparent how the door releases from the housing. Anyone done this?

The mechanism that holds the door on is like a hook.

IIRC, you open the door so it's vertical and push up. I think this is how it goes, but it's been a long time since I did it.
