A flyer for the '04 Solara came with my Toyota Financial Services Billing Statement. Sheesh, I have only had my car since May. I see the new SE has 16" wheels standard instead of the 15" alloys on my '03 SE. It also comes standard with 4 wheel discs with ABS, remote keyless entry, and steering wheel controls for the trip computer and the audio.

The more I look at the shape, the more I get used to it. I still think the '03 is sleeker (if that is a word).

Just my 2 cents.

The 04 is kinda like smoking - you have to get used to it before you can really enjoy it -unfortunately both are rather ugly :fadein: strange my 02 came with the factory remote keyless entry :bday:

The 04 still isn't at local delaerships here in Vancouver.. :x that would never have happened if they still contiued to build them up here I would think. Accroding to Toyota Canada the 04 starts at $1375 (before freight and blah blah) less that the 02 or 03 - thats without the sport package - with the sport package its $1025 more. My 02 also came with remote keyless entry. While are cars look sharper, you are getting more for less in the 04 - up north anyway - havn't compared US prices. Knowing this I still bought the last new 02! :)

Had my first look inside and out of an 04 this weekend- they finally arrived here! I wish I could say that it looked better in person than it did in pictures..but it didnt :drinking: I didn't bother to take it for a ride, as i just wasn't interested... lots of exaggerated shapes and lines it seemed to me - like they were trying way to hard..there is still one new 03 parked in the lot where i checked out the 04 - don't think it will last
