hello i am looking at a 2000 with a 5sd for my daughters first car. i took it for a test drive and the clutch pedal engagement point seemed high to me. the car has a new clutch is this adjustable?

Yes, it is possible to lower the engagement point. Here is a video that shows the correct way to do it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYJxQyjIhUw.
