My brake light went out. I went and bought a new bulb, When I was on my way home I noticed the waring light was not on anymore, So when I got home I checked the light it was working, It continues to do this on/off. Anyone know why?
Thank you much~*

This can happen if maybe the bulb isn't all the way in and sometimes it makes contact and sometimes it doesn't.

I can only think of one other cause. Something like this happened to one of my headlight bulbs on my Accord. It would go out, and I'd hit the head light and it would go back on. This was because there was something up with the filament inside. Once I replaced the bulb, I had no problem.

The bulb could be loose..or there could be a weather change in your area that could have made a loose bulb even looser..and hence the lighting thing. I'd just open it up and check up all bulbs just to be on the safe side.

(also have someone press the brake and check the lights)..cus brakelights are hard to press and visualize from rear end!

Well I'm sure the bulb didn't cost you anymore than like $3, so just change it and see if it still does it.

Check your brake fluid level, that will trip the warning light

I had a similar problem with my old Saab, it did that every time it rained. Turned out water was getting into the housing, so check to see if there's a pattern as to when its happening and look at the different conditions at the time.
