Will seats from the 99-01 fit in an 02 Solara? Basically wanted to convert to leather, wondering if I can just buy different seats.

I've driven both and both are EXACTLY same. All you got to note if there are any sideairbags on the leather seats you want to install. That (i'm guessing) would be the only trickly part. The rest would be unbolt+plug+play!

yes they fit but for the driver side you need to find the harness for the power seat and the side air bags you do not need to hook them up

Why not hook up the power seat? It does have a power seat.

it may not be worth converting to leather seats, my seats are starting to crack, and my car has only spent maybe less than half it's life in the sun...so not like it's always in direct sunlight so...or if you convert, change the leather to aftermarket, which i was gonna do, but not now since my ca ris getting old.

I love the smell of leather...I just hate it when they get really hot during summer.

It's fake leather anyways, haha my driver leather seat is sitting in the living room. I will wait for GT4 to come out so I can play the game with the wheel with this seat.
