Lemon?

How many things have to go wrong to be considered a lemon?I bought the car on the 13 of october, one month and 3 days ago, and so far, I've gone back to the dealer b\c of several "check engine" lights. They've changed some vaccume valve, fixed a leak in my oil pan and fixed a leak in my transmission. I havn't spent a penny on any of this b\c they fixed it all under warrenty, I didn't even know those leaks were there, didn't see any drips in my driveway or anything, but they found them. Then tonight, I was driving and my CEL goes on again! This sucks.

take it back to the dealership and tell them to shop for a new solara for you...cus you would much rather have that than this lemon!

(My 10K ft. view of it) The lemon law applies only if you had to get an item fixed 3 times within a short amount of time (3 months?). In your case, you had to get various items fixed, which led you to the dealership, but not for the same item. So no go.

you should check out your state's lemon laws, every state has a different law all depedning on their own rules, for california i think it's three times for the same problem and it has to be a big re-curring problem...

I thought a lemon was those sour tasting yellow round fruits. But I could be wrong.
