Hey fellow solara owners.. take a look at this.. kinda strang if you read the description... he stated they are "Eibach coil overs" but when i see the box if says ground control. are we missing something here...

This might sound dumb but I am new to all of this. Would a coilover require struts? or is it both combined - springs over struts?

Coilover = hard ass "strut" w/ spring around it. Most are sets (Tein, JIC) but the Ground Control (I've heard bad things about them) are only the strut part while you need other springs too or something...

hey that's ok..live and learn...but yea...coilovers are a combo of the springs and struts.

Ok now that I know what they are. . . Tein has a set for our cars but its like over 1 grand for the set. I am wondering if anyone here has them on their car and can give some feedback. Maybe I will do a search, got to love the search option right :crazyeyes: I guess by reading up on them that they can "adjust" so you can modify the stiffness and lowering height. That is pretty impressive.
