This is probably the most pathetic post on this whole board, but that's ok. Is it just my imagination or does everyone say solara different?? I tend to think it's how it looks....soul (or sol)-lah-rah..not so-leer-ah..but then again, sometimes i say it different depending on the mood.
what do you guys think?? (besides that I'm crazy) :P

I have you all thinking hard, huh? :lilangel:

First of all...the name Solara was coined off a Spanish term and was introduced and conceived at CALTY here in Southern California. California designed car and Canadian built. The only Japanese thing about it are the Aisin and Denso parts and components used in the car (i.e Engine, Tranny, Electronics) and obviously the manufacturer's name labeled everywhere.

Proper pronounciation: SO-LA-RAH

NOT: Solora, So-lera, Salara, Saloro or etc.

My biggest pet peeve is when salesmen or etc do not know how to pronounce the name of their own products they are selling. Sad but true.
