This picture is actually kinda funny. But a rear wheel drive Solara would be awsome! :onfire:

Hmm... :( I miss my Mustang....
-19" Konig Tantrum rims.. Sitting in the garage waiting for tires..
-TRD springs.. Sitting in the garage waiting for struts..
-Conrero aluminium foot pedals.. Sitting in the garage due to my laziness.

mustangs have rear wheel drive? i didn't know that...pppeeeeellll out :evilbat:

I think that toyota should make a mod version of the solara...can u imagine that...the 99 body, lowered, body kit, HID, 20in rims, supercharger, rear wheel drive...ooooo....I'm getting excited. Minus the wheels and the rear wheel I guess that's all stuff that we could mod ourselves, but i think toyota should put more emphasize on the sportier/race look in the solara kinda like the celica. It looks sporty, but it's kinda wussy I have to admit. They could definitely improve it a little more, but i guess it's all in personal taste. I still love it just the way it is though.

Postby vinrock » Mon Sep 02, 2002 12:25 pm

that link just gave me a buncha garbled text...

you wana make a badass solara, try dropping the celica all-trac drivetrain into one, and swap the engine for the jdm supra's twin-turbo 6cyl.

Or get even scarier with a 4.3 V8 with the new TRD blower for that engine.

someone needs to make a monster on the 99 model style, ala' RMM Ultimate Celica. :drinking:

Celica All-Trac drivetrain and a 2JZ-GTE? Uhh sorry wont fit the chassis nor will it be able to hold it. LOL

The Bullish Racing Solara is the ultimate. Tube chassis RWD and a 2JZ-GTE. What more can you ask for!?

That's a pretty impressive car, but aside from it's basic shape, it has nothing in common with our cars. So, is it really a Solara? I don't think so.

It is far from a Solara! It just looks like a Solara from the outside. :(

No actual solara parts were used... :-?

so Flipside, are you saying that our Solara's can have a 2JZ-GTE swapped in? If so, that rocks and how would one go about that?
