I was stuck in traffic going westbound on the 91fwy and i look into my rearview mirror and see an Accord comming at me full speed. he rear ends me and causes a 5 car pile up BUT no major injuries. Driver took all fault for it and becaucse of that his insurance is getting ma an APEX WS catback, fiberglass TRD kit , rear bumber repainted along with the kit, my ABS sensors replaced(previous problem), front bumber repainted (previous problem), driversdie fender repainted(previous problem), and last One new Tenzo-R poke10(gold) for my front driverside(previous problem). Everything with a "previous problem" next to it was there/messed up before the accident BUT the insurance doesnt knwo that so its OKAY!! Well its good that im getting all this free stuff but now my car now has a salvaged title and my neck is as soar as a MOFO. I got my friend who owns a body shop to make an estimate and This tuesday the insurance company is sending someone into check it out and approve of it but everything goes together perfect and there should be no problem. I was in the #1 lane so and i said int he report that after impact i hit the center divider and that scratched my Rim, fender and bumber so ....YEHH!! ill post some pics as soon as i take them.

first off, sorry to hear your problems...But having all the previous boo-boo's fixed for free isn't a great big deal esp. since your car's value with a salvage title would come out less that what it would have been worth without the accord rearending you. If something similar happened to me, i'd fist talk to a lawyer to see what are all my options (remember the first consultation is free)....so weighing in all my options, i'd then decided i wanted to continue owning this car or getting as new one!

you may sue him to get more money because you have body injure and your car had lost its value. and you will have pain in the ass while you try to sell the car. But if other drivers are suing him too, you guys might have to split up the money, or get more money out of the guy's pocket. i would strongly suggest talk to a lawyer first, who are pro on the traffic accidents.

How much was the damage? more than $4000?

Come on guys, I'm smarter then that. Rite after the accident i called my family lawyer and he told me exactly what to do and what not to do, then as soon as traffic cleared that day i went to get checked out at the hospitol, lastly i called my local street pharmacist and got a few Vicatins. Well yeah i personally sat down and spoke to my lawyer yesterday and just filled out paper work and told him the whole story but ass of now we are just waiting on the police report from CHP. And i also alreaddy have appointments to see a Physical therapist 2 times a week for the next few weeks. As for the damages on the car from the accident, it doesnt go past the rear bumper. The muffler was also bent up a bit so thats gotta go and most likely there will be some frame damage.

The damages not including all of the stuff i did to it before was estimated at 2,165.

Can i actually claim it as totalled and get the blue book value of the car and also will it still be considered salvaged even with such small damage.

well ima go take pics of everything and as soon as i do that i will post the pics. THANKS for everyones concern.

According to a new survey, car ownership is getting more expensive. The survey also identified the most expensive cities for car ownership. One of the worst is Washington, DC, placing first on the list of most expensive cities for insurance, and high on lists of gasoline prices and congestion. The Insurance.com survey shows the highest insurance rates in DC, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Delaware, Nevada, Rhode Island, and Louisiana. Gasoline prices are highest in Hawaii, Alaska, California, New York, Nevada, Oregon, Connecticut, Idaho, DC, and Washington. The worst congestion is in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Miami, Phoenix, Chicago, San Jose, DC, Portland and Boston.
Please stop humping my car, owner privilege!

Generally no frame damage doesn't always equate to no salvage title...a title is determined salvaged if the repair on the car outweighs the value of the car! Looks like your family attorney is guiding you in the right direction. FOR NOW I WOULD LAY OFF POSTING MORE HERE on this matter. (sorry for the caps)...but you don't want the accord dudeand the insurance adjuster reading such and determining that someone else influenced u to see a doc to gain winfall insurance monies!
