Does anyone know what the following code means:

P1765: Linear Solenoid for Accumulator Pressure Control Circuit Malfunction

I have a 1997 Avalon engine in my 1990 celica and its mated to a 1999 solara 5spd M/T. The ECU is designed for an A/T so I had to take care of the other DTC's via resistors. However, I have a feeling that this too has to do with the missing A/T but I dont know what its referencing or how I can fix it.

Has anyone else received this code before?

Sure sounds like the pressure controller for the automatic transmission that controls gear changes. Obviously not needed since you have a manual transmission. It's not detecting the circuit and thus giving the code. There's probably a way to add a resistor to the wires that are supposed to go to the solenoid, but we would need some wiring schematics to figure that out.
That's a gutsy swap you have done!

Well, thats just the thing. I have the wiring diagrams for the engine and such, but the only connections in question are the shift solenoids AB and E. These threw the following codes:

P0754 - Shift Solenoid A Electrical
P0758 - Shift Solenoid B Electrical
P0773 - Shift Solenoid E Electrical

So I took care of those using resistors yet this P1765 code still remains. I can get the wiring diagram scanned if you are curious.

Sounds like you know much more about this that me! I assume you have the schematics for the electrical for the car the computer came out of. I assume that it's a computer from an Avalon? If it's not on the schematic, maybe a Toyota tech can help?
