2AZ idle problem

2AZ idle problem

On cold starts, my idle is ridiculously low (500) and fluxes from 100 to 800 until it's warm. Anyone else have this problem?

If so, get it solved before your warranty ends! THe Idle Speed Control Valve has to be replaced and it's not an easy deal... it takes almost all day to do (6-7 hours)

They said it's a pretty common problem but isn't big enough for a recall or service campaign. It's just a noted problem.

The 5S had the same problem but I'm sure everyone is out of warranty already hehe THey actually issued a service campaign for that.
1GR-FE ftw!

I hate how the car has to demonstrate the problem at the time you take it in... cuz it does it sometimes... =(
