Never heard of those springs before...
Better to go with springs like Eibach - 1.6in drop.
and tein and vogtland - dunno the drop of these.

8) You pay for what you get.

Thats all I got to say.

Main thing is that for shocks get Tokico
Other than that for springs you got more choice.
I got Vogtland springs 1.5" drop and is wonderful.

Unless you want to spend a little more and get coilovers. Better performance handling and more drop.

I got Tein's from eBay. I was looking for the lowest drop, and the lowest price. Out of all the springs available: Eibach, Vogtland, H&R, and Tein. I was able to find a set of Tein's for $130 + $30 shipping. And they have the lowest drop of 2.3". You think the lowest springs would be the highest priced and not the lowest, huh. I just can't wait for my Tokicos (eBay) so I can install the set. Never seen a Solara dumped on Teins either. Good luck,
Josh

Reality bites

I'd stay away from those Spring Techs too and stick with the majority on this forum...which is Tein, Eibach, and Vogtland.

I suggest to all of you that you shouldn't mention how low the springs will make your car, some cars drop more than others. When I had the tokico/eibach combination, stock rims, no system, my Solara was close to 3" drop

3" drop on Eibach?

Postby Sentinel » Thu Apr 15, 2004 5:34 am

I don't understand how the same spring set would drop different cars different amounts. I've got the Tokico/Eibach combo on order and I sure as hell hope it dosn't drop the car 3".

Yeah and the likleyhood of that ever happening? None. Something was obviously wrong cause the product (SPRINGS) your referring to sells it self as 1.6" dropp so that is what we quote. You got to measure the edge of the wheel well to the center of the rotor/wheel before and after your spring/strut set up and then you can see the difference in numbers.

hard to belive. :-?
