Under dash neon problems
I just got 4 neon tubes today and was going through the directions at http://www.zer0.info/solaraguy/viewtopic.php?t=4655 and the red with white stripe wire isn't connected to the door sensors, the white with silver stripe wire isn't hot (maybe because I don't have a fuse on that line). So I had to get to the door sensor by removing the rear 'oh crap' handle and popping the panel off and the wire to the driver door sensor is red with a green stripe, and the passenger side door is red with a white stripe and silver bars. So what I'm gonna do is just splice a wire to both the wires and connect them to the ground terminal of my switch. And because I have 4 neons to set up I am running 2 wires straight from the battery (1 wire will feed 2 neons) with inline fuses. Then I'm gonna run a constant ground from the under the shifter an put a switch on it. I like the other way better, but the intended variable ground wire isn't it. So I am 100% positive it will work my way. I'll get pics later today and post in the DIY.
Later,
Josh
