I know this topic was brought up before but does anyone know if it is a significant problem or not? When i floor it i get it and so do many other people. Does anyone know the exact cause?

i get the same exact smell. I think it may be due to the cat being old or plugged up. Not exactly sure but it smells like a$$ and would like a fix as well.

 I get that in my Sienna and Solara. I always thought it was just cause I floored it and got close to redline. The motions got to cause some sort of smell.

My old car used to do that.... turned out there was a hole in the exhaust line underneath the cabin..... dunno if that'll help or not, but its easy to look for.

i get that all the time when i floor it. it's probably just the catalytic being overwhelmed with the increase amount of floor thru there. can't wait to get those headers and get rid of that cat.
