I didn't use my A/C at all during the winter time. Now it's summer time and it's not working at all  . I think my A/C stopped working a little before 50k miles (it got less colder and less colder until no cold at all). I'm pretty conservative in using my A/C, so I am thinking I have a leak?

Has anybody else had their A/C go out yet? If I take it to the dealer are they gonna jack me, or is there any testing that I can do to see what the problem is? :-?

I read in the Haynes maintenance manual that you are suppose to turn it is health for the A/C to turn it on a few times a month - I didn't do this but now I know.

Have a place check freon levels and see whats up. Some places can do it and fill it up if necessary for less than 20 bucks. I'd refrain from going to the Toyota dealer because they will probably "find" a problem with it and charge you up the wazoo for something this relatively simple.

Just relax bro, itll be cool... (pun if you didnt get it, lol)

I dont think cars today use freon anymore. I have the same problem, my cars at 57k miles, and the A/C is getting less colder.

^ correct, cars this day don't use freon anymore. its a freon alternative.

just get the system re-charged and the air should blow cooler in no time.
