What are your opinions on these struts:

Tokico High Performance Struts: PART NUMBERS: FRONT HB3184 and HB3185 REAR HB3181 and HB3182.

I just bought some Eibach Springs are these a good combo?

Thanks in advance. :D

Also is $320 a good price?

Yes it is a good combo, for a good balance between performance and daily street driving I love my eibach/tokico combo, as do most people on these boards. You'll find probably 75% of the camry/solara owners have that setup.

$320 is a good price.

Enjoy!

that's pretty much the only performance struts you can get.

others are bilstein, but they are discontinued.

is anyone using KYB ? Koni?
i dont know if these companies ever made struts for our platform.

Did the people who got this setup notice a huge difference in handling? Was it worth the money?

I'm using a KYB GR-2/Eibach setup and I love the combo, the KYBs are slightly cheaper, but I wish I had waited the extra few days for the Tokicos to go on sale on ebay again...oh well, I'm guessing the KYBs are about just as good as the Tokicos anyways

Have any of you installed these yourself?

How hard do you think it will be if you have all the tools, a lift, and have done something similar (lifted a jeep or two); but never messed with struts?

Absolutely worth every penny. The stock ride is pretty floaty. Not only does it have a lot of body roll, but the car dives and squats under hard braking and acceleration. Most of those problems are gone with a good aftermarket spring/strut combination. The car just feels so much more glued to the road.

The ride quality is only slightly compromised. To me, unless you're driving over bumpy roads, the ride is actually better with the Eibach/Tokico combination compared to stock. The stock ride is just way too soft.
