Can we use the "one way reflective tint" on our car's rear windows? Is it illegal??

in CA any tinting that inreases reflectivity is illegal...but on the rear window and rear sides you can go as dark as you want

Mirror tint is not only illegal, but its unsafe. If its one-way as you said then it would have to be very dark. On a sunny day, the sun could reflect off of your windows and blind other drivers. If they got into an accident you could be held liable

Any tint in the front drivers, and passengers windows IS illegal in California!

That is rediculous!!! I drive right past police with my 3.4% and they dont think twice about it, unless im doing something liek speeding ....

Are they strict about it in cali?

yes. very.

it can be suited as a life or death situation.

what if the driver has front tint windows and has a weapon ready when a cop pulls him/her over?

front tint is only allowed ifyou have a doc's written consent that you are sensitive to the sun or something like that.
