Replace or Repair?? Bumper cover.

Replace or Repair?? Bumper cover.

Um due to a small um accident my front bumper cover is now scratched and scraped. Would it be worth it to try and repair or just get a new one and paint it? Also where you get a new bumper cover if you were going to buy one. I have seen them on ebay, and lots of other I-net vendors....

take it to a DentPro or Dent Wizard...they repaired and paint matched my rear bumper to perfection and saved me $600+

DentPro charged me only $400 and took less than two days to fix...to and repaint, replace, and install estimates were as high as $1200 and would take 5-7 days.

i was a bit skeptical on how it would come out being a paintless dent removal center and being so cheap, but i couldn't believe how good a job they did...they are going to be the place for all of my dings and dents from here on out :D

Well from what I have seen I can get a new bumper cover for less than 200 and and friend who paints very very well, can paint for less than 100 or so. I think maybe just replace it....

Wasn't there a discussion kind of like this before? A new bumper only costs about $180 from Toyota, well that's how much it cost the 2 times I had to buy a new one  , and I don't know the exact cost of how much it costs to paint it but it can't be more than like $150. So it would probably be cheaper just to buy a new one and get it painted.

I have hook ups at a body shop. that would have costed me close to 200 painted. For just stratched up bumbers its $150! if your reinformencement needs repacement then obviously then thats more...check to see if its just scratched or if there are more parts needing replacements.
