When you guys get a aftermarket HU, where do you get your installation kits from? The pocket i got was from a corolla and it doesn't fit. Can you please tell me where? and if its a website can you give me the specific link? Thanks guys

http://www.crutchfield.com is a goodplace to start. I have ordered numerous products for both my Solara and an Accord and they include all the accessories to hook it up properly. The sheets they include also tell you how to take apart the dash, doors and rear deck properly. If you use the following code pdpre-7pu0a-3430k when you place an order you'll get $20 OFF plus I'll get $20 off of my next order.

If you have a single DIN stereo you'll need this pocket to go underneath:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-TaHU1v4uUGf/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=081TOYPOC

You'll also need a wire harness adapter. This one does not use the JBL amp if you have it.

Use the following code if you order and you'll get $20 off your first order:
pdpre-7pu0a-3430k

Good Luck

Sorry to keep pushing the Crutchfield site but they are really helpful. There prices are standard retail but theres no sales tax if you dont live in Vermont. Also alot of times you get free shipping. Anyway give them a call I'm sure the'll be able to help you. If you do decide to order from them, give them that code so you can get money off and I'll get $20 off my next order. Let us know how it goes

just go to your local stereo install shop. Metra pockets are the more common brand to pick up. it's just a single pocket so you're gonna have to strategically place your HU and pocket together with the OEM brackets.

Yeah, the pocket and wiring kit is all you need. The stock radio has 2 metal plates on the sides that hold the radio to the car; SAVE THOSE. Unless you're willing to go down to your local Stealership, you're screwed without them.

Basic run-down:
1. Take wiring kit and crimp/twist together the wires with matching color, then cover with electrical tape.
2. Take radio out.
3. retain metal plates and secure onto aftermarket HU (top portion only; bottom makes it harder to put the pocket on).
4. Pull out aftermarket-designed wires near firewall (if you have a JBL with an amp) and plug them into HU.
5. put radio/pocket combo back in DIN slot and CAREFULLY place bolts in. It's not easy fishing them out (I had to take apart the bottom half of the console, but I DID make $2 off it from a bunch of loose change since the last owner apparently put some in the climate control's pocket, plus the actual reason I did was to adjust the e-brake line)
6. Swiss-Cheese your stock HU at the local shooting range or sell it on EBay.

I did my own install (see CarDomain for my Pioneer DEH-something something )
