grounding something is easy.......just get the end of the wire to touch something that doesnt have a electricity going through it......:)

No matter how you ground it, make sure you scrape whatever surface you are going to use and clean it thoroughly (make sure it's clean, bare metal). I would recommend drilling a small hole (make sure not to drill through anything except metal chassis) and using a set screw through a ring terminal crimped onto the grounding wire.
