Aftermarket deck with stock amp

I just bought a Jensen Mobile Multimedia Receiver with 6.5" LCD (VM9020TS) for my 2002 toyota solara. I Have the premium sound system by jbL and the stock deck. I want to use the dvd with the stock amp, i dont want to bypass the amp because i want it so it could give the dvd a lil more juice. Is this possible ?

No.That is not possible.Much better off just diconnecting it and hooking up directly to your factory speakers. When you remove your factory head unit there are two plugs off to the right side that are your standardtoyota plugs.they give you power and speaker connections....Cee

i havent installed it because i did get the 2 din jensen. My couzin hooked up my aftermarket deck to a stock amp ounce using bare wires so thats why i was wondering. Hopefully he can do this again :) So what your saying is if i pay circuit city to install it they can just plug it in to the other plugs it has ? No re wiring the car ?

installation was 100 bux..yea i had the jbl system but didnt bother to ask what they did with amp didnt really want it anyway since it cant be used with the aftermarket unit..just a heads u tho its good to let them install it since theres a lot of wiring to do plus they had to run the tv antenna from the windshield to the h/u but when they put it in they have to hook it up the emergency brake so if u want to watch dvd or tv while ur driving youll need to disconnect the wire and ground it to the chasis thatll solve the problem and its pretty easy to do..also with the bracket they use it makes the screen stick out from the dash about half an inch or so. i took it out and adjusted the screws to make it sit deeper in the dash and it looks 20 times better..if u have any questions about how to do it just pm me and ill send u some pics
