I used dynamat in my entire trunk and I have no rattles at all. I know some people will say it's expensive but you will not regret it. (remember you get what you pay for)

P.S.
If you have the spoiler on your trunk lid take it off and put new double sided tape under it.

I just recently added sound deadening material to my trunk and it has practically eliminated the rattling and the music also sounds alot better in the car. It was very simple to install, although due to the complexity of our trunk, it took a little bit of time. I am very happy that I did it though.

Yeah but it's crazy expensive. compare the price of Dynamat Extrme in sq ft to Raammat.

Much better value.

Dyanmat extreme is good stuff though that's for sure. Just expensive without a REALLY good hookup.

Regular Dynamat, you might as well buy Peal and Seal. It's crap.

I got my trunk, inner rear/side bumpers, and rear tray layered with Dynamat Xtreme. Costed me like $80 for 20 sq. ft. Ended up being enough so I'm content. Trunk doesnt pop open anymore, just slightly nudges up. Hah oh well
