I have a 99 with the stock single CD player with the BIG display.... and is it just mine or do they all skip like Crazy! i cant even use CDs any more... lame! any solution?

my cd player skips when i hit bumps on the road too... i hate it. but i love the jbl sound system!

DEFINITELY time to upgrade to aftermarket. If you still want OEM, eBay sells it for about $150 but they're not guaranteed to work, and it's $400-800 (???) for another stock one, while even my cheap Pioneer DEH-P2600 whoops the stock stereo's arse in quality by a lonnnnnnnnng shot... That's what I did when my CD player went out on me.

im selling a JVC unit for my sis. only a couple days left to bid. awesome head unit. you can even download pix to it. originaly paid $500, selling it for WAY less. id buy it from her but i just bought a nav system.....

My head unit is also going (same problem). I plan on puttin a flush double-din pioneer navigation unit.
