Assuming your amp doesn't have speaker level inputs, what you will need is a high-to-low converter, basically, converting from speaker (high) to RCA (low) levels. Then run the RCA from the converter to the amp.

So all you need is tap off the 2 front or rear speaker pair of wires and run that straight into the amp. Then adjust the gain accordingly. Rear is typically much easier since those wires are exposed under the rear deck.
