Ok..im in the process of trying to get ahold of panasonic..but Maybe someone on here has an idea..

So Im drivin to the club last night with some friends..bumpin the ride..watchin a porn DVD that my friend put to a bunch of songs that I picked out..everythings going great. All the sudden my crap powers off (as said above panasonic cq-vad9300u)..than powers back on. All the sudden I have no damn sound. Now first i thought it might be a fuse..but its not..the whole video console (if thats what you call it?) on the dvd player has changed. The volume instead of reading out in DB now reads in regular volume..i cant access the radio. I cant do crap. The cd will play and i can skip to other tracks and such but no sound comes out..i can watch TV but no sound on that either. I cant go into the menu where you get the graphic equalizer and such..the option isnt even there anymore.

If anyone knows anything about this..or knows someone who does please please help me out.

short to ground, one of your speaker wire leads are touching metal.

OK..im sorry but could you elaborate?..A speaker wire is touching metal and that screws the menu thingy up on my unit? I mean i cant access anything that has to do with the radio or any of the equalizers or anything that has to do with the sound output..

ok I though everything works but no sound. It could be a few other things, but if everything works fine but no volume, then check your spk leads.

Hey Rickyboxler,

I have almost the same unit but the 7300, I would check the brain of the unit. The brain has a Ground wire which is really easy to be shorted out.

That would be my best suggestion. The design for the brians ground wire was really dumb.. it was not made to consider shorts on placement of brain location.

Ok..well i figured it out..it was a blown fuse..and a bad subwoofer out put..so now i have everything back but my subs. Anyone know where i can get my subwoofer output fixed? I bought the thing off of ebay and i dont feel like taking my stuff apart and waiting forever to send it to the closest repair shop (which is in Indiana). Guess ill post a new subject in the forum on this.

How in the world can someone drive while a porn movie is playing in the dash? Your eyes can't be two places at the same time! Too bad your eyes can't move indepently like a chameleon. I thought he was going to say right then that he smacked into someone.

HA..its actually a bunch of differnent porn clips and girls gone wild clips put to music. And yes its very very distracting, I also feel kinda stupid sometimes when I pull up to a caravan full of kids and Im fumbling to find the remote to turn it off=)
