microsoft Origami
for those of us with the usb gps and the notebook computer strapped on the passenger seat, the wait is almost over for that navigation device that's not a one-trick-pony.
Enter the microsoft Origami, introduced at CeBIT today, CNNmoney.com describes it as "Tablet PC mates a full sized hard drive with a handheld organizer, MP3 player, GPS navigation, game player, camera and TV on a 7-inch screen." yeah, it's like the Gen2's navigation plus a tablet pc, for under $1000. small enough to dangle from our a/c air vents. check out the article and video link below.

talk of the town is that it'll be going around $500 in a year. Hmmm, another gadget to look for, or if it doesn't live up, maybe another disappointing dream.
