sub recomendation

hey guys. Im looking to buy a new sub. I was thinking a 10" or a 12". I like to listen to almost everything, rock , rap , metal. I want it to ba able to hit all the notes and like drumb beats in the rock songs. The amp i have is a lightningt audio 450w 2 channel. It has 150w rms briged. I want a sub that will be able to run off that amp. If worst comes to worst i will buy a new amp. Any good subs you guys could think of, and would a 10 or 12" sub be better for me. Im only gonna run one sub.

ps. do you have that in a sealed or ported box?

my box is ported 600 watt amp two two so bout 250 to each and an l5 isnt gonna do rap with a 150 amp! the amp is the most important thing!

I have a JL W7 currently for sale.
I was holding it for someone but he hasn't come thru with payment.

its a 12" W7 woofer
used but it was in my show car and I didn't push it that much.

Great sub when powered with a 500/1 or 1000/1 Jl amp or any amp that pushes at least 500 watts rms..

Asking $350.00 local or $400.00 shipped.

I just picked up 2 kicker comp 10's. They are sweet, and my amp is able to power them great. I built a huge box for them with dual ports. Il post some pics when i get some taken, its really hard to find time being a full time student.

I dont know if I would say the best. It all depends on who you ask. I just think you get the same quality and performance for less money. Nothing against the W7's just I couldnt drop that much on that sub whether I had the money or not.
