Yeah, Like Blaze said. Get a good quality kit if you going to do a single DIN. Some of the cheaper kits fit pretty bad. I have a single DIN kit in my car. If you want to see it, there is a picture on my Cardomian site.

I would reccomend buying the kit from crutchfield. Not only are their prices competitive, but they give you an in detail instruction booklet of how to install the headunit and they'll give you full tech support if you need any help

The kits shouldn't be that expensive. Wiring harness will run you around $10 and face plate kit could be around $15

What gauge? Check ebay, but they usually have no name kits. Monster will be expensive reguardless

Sounddomian.com doesn't offer Monster, but they have fair prices and a wide selection of quality amp wiring kits. Also, remember you get what you pay for, especially on RCAs.

you know what looks sweet as hell when its done right? A din sized head unit, and a din sized EQ. Thats what i have done in my Camry, and in the process of being added to my Solara. I have the Kenwood KVT 911dvd with the Kenwood KGC-9044 eq/crossover in my cars and im my opinion they look awsome. but for some reason it will never compare to the flush look of a Double DIN head unit...i miss my kenwood 4010, but i love my touchscreeen 911.
