does anyone have any good suggestions on a cheap amp (<125) that would be good for the Image Dynamics ID8 v.3?

You might want to check out US Acoustics amps. They have really good specs and are relatively inexpensive. They're a lot better than the crappy Kenwood/Sony/Profille amps in the same price range.
