I have a 6.5" screen and it almost sits flush. It looks real nice. I'll take some pics for you.

Why would you have to mod the center console?

Your best bet would be to talk to gunman. He was planning on fiberglassing on in, but i dont know if he ever got around to it.

lucky for you ive been playing around with that idea, the kenwood 8'' monitor which is also touch screen is just about perfect, the thing is your gonna have to pry the front trim off and fiberglass it in, the only thing after that is your gonna have to find a spot for yor radio, you can then relocate it to where our cig ligher and ashtray are. thank god for that solara that came in about 3 weeks back, took some extra time measuring things and all :P

If you're not too particular about it being flip out or not, here's an awesome product: Clarion VRX 935VD

http://www.clarion.com/multimedia/multi01.htm

Features:
-Motorized touchscreen
-Plays DVDs, CD-RWs, VCD, MP3
-Built-in amp and 6 channel RCA line level output
-Sirius Satellite Radio Ready

I've seen the prices vary all over the place from $1300 to $2500. BTW, why the heck is Crutchfield so stinking expensive?

crotchfield is expensive b/c it is the name brand store like Al&Eds autosound.

touchscreen monitors are awesome, but i would not like the fact of other people touching my screen, getting their grubby fingerprints on the display. I went with Pioneer. works great, although my only security feature (removeable face plate) was broken by me. so here i am with a electric taped up broken face plate :(
