you're not gonna get much amp for 150 bucks. To know how to wire them up, you need to know the impedance of the voice coils of the sub as well as the input impedance of the amp

1st: $150 will not get you enough amplification to make anything pound, other than your splitting headache.

As for how big? find out what the speakers will take, and at what resistance, and match the amp to that. ie: they say 250 watt rms each? give 'em 500w.

If you blew your amp make sure you know how to wire them for a specific load. If you run them parallel you halve the resistance, and many amps will not run 2 ohms ($150 amps, anyway)

This is about the best you'll get for those subs at just a bit over that price range...

http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-ALPINE-MRP-M650 ... dZViewItem

Reputable seller, $191 total with shipping... Not the best, but for that price (range) it will certainly do the job, it matches the subs pretty well, and is stable at 2Ohms so you can wire your subs parallel.

I just looked up the subs you own and if I'm not mistaken those are dvc 4ohm sub which mean if you have to your options are to run your amp at 1 ohm or 4 ohms. It should be difficult to find a 500w amp at 1 ohm close to your price range. Buying used makes a lot more sense since those arent top dollar subs your running. I dont know if you've ever heard of Ultimate(Canadian Car Audio company) but I've got one of their amps that puts out 500w at 4ohms and 900w at 2ohms. If you were interested I might be able to give you a good deal on it since I'm lookin to upgrade my system.

I beg to differ with many of you...

First of all...if you want to make them POUND such that people can hear you from down the street, you are probably going to need better subs and a much higher budget.

If you want a nice amount of bass in your car, something to fill the music...and then some...I think you could totally get by with 300W-500W RMS (depending on your enclosure).

If you want something loud with the sacrifice of sound quality, get a bandpass box and a lower power amp. If you want the sound quality and dont mind if its not as loud, get a sealed box and a higher wattage amp.

eBay is the answer to your amplifier concerns. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! There are millions of places on the web where you can look up reviews of amplifiers. I have found amazing deals on ebay on used amplifiers that people just didnt know about or need. Go search for some amps on ebay, learn about bridging, learn about RMS wattage, etc. If you can't find a review, then stay away from it. For $150, you could easily find a nice used amp (it will probably be 5-10 years old...but those were the better amps anyways) .

The 1032Ws are DVC bro, he has the 1030Ws, which are single 4Ohm.

He just needs a solid amp capable of 500-600Wx1 RMS @2Ohms.

Definitely check out the link I posted above, for that price you would be very hard pressed to find something with better sound quality / power output, especially new. There are many used amps you could do, but the V-Power would be a very good match to those subs.

Glad to hear you're happy with it man. As RedSoul stated, as long as you're happy with what you got it was a purchase well made!

Take care,
