i've been working on this for a few months now when i have the time....

i needed space in my trunk and access to my folding rear seats so i came up with this.

removed rear speakers, installed amp rack under rear deck (2 amps and crossovers, sub in fiberglass box in corner)

i wasn't really going for loud....more of a simple SQ system. it's only a 10. I also don't have rear speakers and left the holes open so it's a little louder. But it's pretty weak in SPL.

Good combo with the Lotus / ED stuff... Must sound great :-)

Do the amps stay cool mounted upside down like that?

That is a great looking install man. Only problem with mounting the amps upside down is the heat issues that it can cause. But if that isnt a problem then stick with man. And I wanna know how that subs sounds being that it on one side of the vehicle.?

Because there upside down.

Usually amps are designed right side up or flat on it's back down. Not upside down. If he doesn't abuse them he'll be alright.
Dispensing heat is the issue here.

a few small computer/12volt fans should fix any over heating problems you may have...

C L E A N . .

-note: heat travels up, so if the internals ov the amp are on top.. it basically marinates in its own heat. Thus, giving you more chances to overheat.

Overheating wouldn't be an issue in this case. Heat would only be a critical issue if they were mounted inside a small airtight box. Being in an open area like the trunk, there is enough airflow to compensate for any rising heat. ;)

Nice clean install!
