I have 2 10" JL audio subs in a unported box. Tha amp i have to run those is this one.

Now i just need to have them hooked up profeshionally. Does anyone have any ideas or pictures of your trunk to see how you guys mounted your amps and also do i need to buy a equalizer? Also what should i avoid when buying an equalizer?>

I actually mounted my amp in the back of the back seat. Just lowered the back seats and mounted there, so everytime I lower my back seats in the amps comes down with it and also looks alright when you take a look from the trunk. Looks pretty cool. :)

nice setup but what did you use to mount the amps on? Is that just a board in front the speaker box ? or is that a big ass box ?

It was a custom box built to specs for my JL w7... then I had a face built to the box made of 3/4" MDF wood that is carpeted.

The cap and amps were mounted with screw to the wood and holes drilled to route the amp wires and cables.

too about 10 hours to do...

Just be careful with that though because my JL amps were so heavy as opposed to my Rockford that I mounted to my back seat and some of the screws popped out of the thin cardboard/wood that's fabricated on the back seat.

Kenny inspired me on my setup. Check out the signature pic.

Nice setup you all have.

I have a very basic install, JBL 12" in a box I got from crutchfield. I mounted my amp on the side of the trunk.

I'm going to get a JBL amp soon, the one I have now isn't that great.

I want to keep everything the same brand as the speakers.

my set up isn't even that good. Similar (amp and one sub) but not nearly as clean as yours.....then again, i'm hardly ever in the trunk and i've got so much sh*t thrown around in there. Looks good

Oh yeah I tought about that before I mounted on, but its been 3 months already since I mounted and I have not have any problems yet. By the way nice setup there I was leaning something towards like that but I couldnt fit the two 15's under the 6x9 speakers area in the trunk. I can but Ill have to figure it out :D (just lazy).
