Just picked up Stinger's SP1500d and wow, I don't have any dimming at all.

Head light's, interior are fine, crank my music proudly.

I hated seeing the reflection of my head lights flashing on the car infront of me or my interior light's dimming each time the bass kicked in.

^^ no problem with them? I hope not if you have THREE wired in parallel.

That 1500 amp intermittent is pretty sweet.

$230 but I bought it at a car audio shop I worked at and he did me a solid. Worth every dollar. I would need 2 optimas just to keep up with the stinger. They have more powerfull ones also if you need.
Some places online start at $250 but authorised dealers sell it for more than $300 plus $30 for shipping and handling.
The thing weighs more than 50lbs!!!

Well, here is the story.
A couple of years ago, I had lots of money burning a hole in my pocket.
I decided I wanted an SQL show winner. I went to an audio store that I trust and they designed me a killer system. They went with three optimas because capacitors really dont work all that good (Batteries are much more reliable).
Half way through installing the system, I ran out of money. I got laid off from my job and I had no income. I had to stop the project and it never got finished.
I still have yet to take it to a competition.
If the system were finished, the batteries would have powered two 12" Diamond Audio subs.

Yeah, I will. I have a nephew that gives me a hard time about it a lot.
I ran myself into a bunch of debt, but I will do my best to finish my system.

By the way, I've changed my mind. I won't be going with 12s. I'm certain that 10s give a much sharper, cleaner sound. I mean, I want to compete in quality not volume.
