I have an after market alpine head unit with infinity speakers all around powered by a four channel amp, and two alpine type r's hooked up to two v12 mono sub amps also everything is running through a capacitor. All of a sudden I get in my car and nothing worked but the head unit. I have no sound at all and I am wondering what could be causing this or has anybody had anything happen like this?

STEP one -----

check too see if you have power light on your amps....

- IF YOU DO then... look intoo your connections...

- IF YOU DO NOT

check fuse under hood.... if that is bad then replace... if good then look at your cap...

when you say nothing worked, do you mean electronics or the entire car. It wouldn't start or anything? Sounds like you've got wires crossed some where, regardless of the severity.

No its weird My head unit works .. all other 'car electronics' work but no power to amps (not lit up) no power to capacitor (tells me its a battery/fuse problem usually) and there is no sound or static coming from any speakers but everything is wired correctly... very confused

Check your remote turn-on lead.

check all tooth fuses in the sides of your amps, your in-line fuse for your main power line and like they said, remote connection - back of the h/u
