Basically what you want to do is set it up kinda

crossover..........digital
low pass filter......30-40 hertz range depending what the box is tuned for
"Q".........keep in on what ever band is considered ''narrow''
EQ level........keep that flat untill runing test music and adj accord to bass
Sub sonic filter .........should always be on about 20 hertz should be good
Phase should be normal 0
and time correction is what the formula will spit out on the web site for bass focus.

that help? I would explain but i would have to send you to school for about a year for you to understant that.

really? that low? i tend to keep it a bit higher, you mind going into that a bit more? typically i use sealed boxes

he'll have a fairly steep slow too with 24dB/Octave too. peter does your head unit have a low pass filter?

i'd say mess around with the low pass crossover and leave it where you like it, don't go too high unless you mainly listen to rock-- and i think you said u listened to rap
