Double din are much more reliable and easier to use.

Single din has that wow factor when it flips out but the down fall is some blond girl can pull and it and snap the screen or in some car it covers up the AC unit or other stuff when its open.

In dash double din. MY personal problem with aftermarket radio, single or double din is the disgusting way they protrude out. I usually try to modify any aftermarket unit to sit back further so that it truly looks OEM

I have the angle set to pop out a bit when it's on. It's better for me if the bottom tilts out a bit. I can actually see the screen better that way. When I turn off the car, the screen sinks back into the housing and looks really nice and clean.

double din FTMFW

forget that flimsy single din stuff, theres just way too many sensitive electronics housed to rely on a pop-out plastic screen to make it all function.

Planning on driving into the ocean? LOL

...and, what are you doing with your air on? Turn that off and put the top down :D Looks sunny, i.e.: no rain.

My Nakamichi flip is a single DIN. It's working fine but dvdchris45 is right, it's very sensitive and it happens me 5 times that the screen was not able to open or close (reset by disconnect the battery works fine).

double DIN looks amazing, but I wonder how hard it is with sun to see the screen?? I can adjust mine in various angles to minimise the problem.
