Going to put XM in my mom's '01. Where did you guys mount the antenna? Is there a way to route it to the back without it being in the way of the top?

Just put it on the dashboard...in the centre, right in front of the windsheild. It does not have to be outside. As long as it has a clear view of the sky, it'll be fine.

I have the Sirius star mate package It comes with a magnetic antennae, I would Strongly recommend you mount it on the rear deck lid, somewhat near the center. I mounted mine in the rear window and I only had about 4 bars, but after I mounted it outside I had a full signal :)

Yeah, I have a convertible, and mine is on the trunk. All wires were hidden by the installer.

Well, I did the install in my car and was going to do hers but didn't want it to get caught in the top. It was easy to do in a coupe.
