is it a usx 4065? i've never had that issue with any of the us acoustics amps i've tried out (2150, 4065, 600f, 800f)... is it a 2003? they moved to asia for cheaper labor and supposivly the quality of the amps aren't as good anymore

is this something that just started out of the blue-- or since install?
what power wire size are you using?

i have the JBl BP600.1 and thats is 600 Rms power. Im using the 0 gauge wire and i never had any problems. one of my frenz were using those Us acostics amp and had the same problem you are having. he was running a 600 watt amp with 10gauge wire..

the wire was too thin to power the amp with that much wattage.

The recommended wire use for a 600 watt amp is 4gauge min. (depending on the amp)

due to the low profile or gauge wires it causes the amp to heat up..

try to change the wire size and you problem should be fixed.

Intercooled it. :D

I did mine by installing it underneath the passenger seat,
where the AC blows.
